Acquisition
Green Concepts is actively seeking to acquire existing anaerobic digestion (AD) plants. With extensive experience, we focus on both well operated plants and those requiring improvement. Our team, strong in both finance and technology, excels at revitalising underperforming plants. We also offer minority share incentives to key project partners who are pivotal to our overall success.
Consulting
With 20 years of experience in the biogas sector across Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Japan, we offer optimization services for AD plants, including both agricultural and food waste-based facilities. Our consulting process begins with a comprehensive assessment of the technology used, the conversion process resulting in biomethane or electricity and heat, and a biological analysis. Based on this report, we develop financially attractive optimization plans for your plant.
Development
Our dedicated team will assist you throughout the development process of your AD plant. We ensure your plant’s success by carefully screening sites, conducting feasibility studies, and designing the site. In the next stages, we handle tenders, contracts, and planning permissions. Once these steps are established, our experienced team manages the construction, as well as gas and electrical grid connections.
Power Purchase Agreement for AD Plants
Green Concepts offer a special solution for new and existing anaerobic digestion (AD) plants that require a combined heat and power unit (CHP).
Through this Power Purchase Agreement, Green Concepts will finance the required CHP unit, handling all aspects of servicing, operation and maintenance. This is not only financially appealing to the customer, but also relieves the operator from the complexities of operating the CHP.
Our Power Purchase Agreement offers the following:

Delivery and installation of a CHP

Servicing and maintenance contract

Contract length between 5 and 15 years

Costs are charged per hour of use (minimum 6000h per year)
